Richard "Dick" Helmick- Retired 2015

Dick founded Helmick Associates in 1986 and has been associated with the electrical industry for over 35 years. 

Leland Helmick - Owner Principal / Outside Sales Michigan and Toledo Territories.
Leland joined Helmick Associates in 2007. He has over twenty years of professional experience in engineering and sales. Leland has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering degree from Lawrence Technological University and a MBA from Walsh College.

Lisa Matey– Inside Sales
Lisa joined Helmick Associates in 2021. She previously was an account manager and trainer for a software company. Lisa has a B.S. in Business from Eastern Michigan University.

Jed Jacobs– Outside Sales

Jed joined Helmick Associates in 2025. He began his career in 1998 with his family’s electrical business, working with commercial, industrial, and agricultural clients. In 2010, he took ownership of the company and expanded its focus to include the commercial restaurant sector. In 2016, he joined Medler Electric, where he specialized in sales distribution management, gaining expertise in account management, client service, and strategic sales support. He also holds a Michigan Electrical License and is known for his solutions-driven, customer-first approach.
